A few years back, I accidentally began a Christmas Eve tradition of wrapping Christmas gifts, sipping eggnog and listening to Christmas music.
Born out of part procrastination, part conflicting holiday schedules and part this isn’t such a bad way to spend an evening with Dave the Builder, the ritual stuck.
Christmas gift wrapping ideas and inspiration has always intrigued and amazed the holiday part of my brain.
I fondly remember standing in line at a local department store at holiday time with gift in hand staring at the particular paper pattern and ribbon color chosen to accent the present presentation.
Nothing said holidays like the embossed Weiss and Goldring sticker placed in the lower right hand corner of the wrapped package.
I haven’t seen one of those stickers in years, but I do my best at Christmas gift wrapping time to channel the art of Christmas present presentation.
For the large part of you who probably have your gift wrapping all wrapped up, these ideas will have to be entered in the maybe for next year column.
For the others like myself who have yet to wrap it up, may I present that’s a wrap holiday gift wrapping ideas and inspiration for your Christmas presents wrapping consideration.
This year Places In The Home is giving as holiday gifts to our neighbors butcher cut pork tenders seasoned with Southern Living’s recipe for Smoky-Sweet BBQ rub.
I’m wrapping the finished product up in a burlap bag, adding a printable cuts of pork diagram on top as the to/from card, and tying it all together with red and white butcher twine and natural raffia with sprigs of fresh rosemary tucked into the knot.
