Disclosure Policy

As in life and disclosure policy compliance with FTC rules, honesty is the best policy.  I participate in affiliate marketing programs. There are affiliate links in some of my blog post and affiliate banner ads decorating the sidebar and footer of Places In The Home.  An affiliate link is defined as a special URL containing the ID or username of the affiliate (Places In The Home). The identifying URL is used by the advertiser to track all traffic the affiliate (Places In The Home) sends to the advertiser’s site as a part of the affiliate program.  When a reader clicks on the affiliate link or banner ad and makes a purchase on the advertiser’s site, I receive a commission for the sale (conversion).

The compensation received has never and will never influence the content, topics, retail suggestions or posts made on this blog.  All advertising is in the form of advertisements generated by a third party ad network.  Those advertisements will be identified as paid advertisements.

Occasionally I write sponsored posts featuring products, services, websites and various other topics I include my honest opinion on.  I am compensated for these posts.  Even though I receive compensation for these posts or advertisements, I always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products.  The views and opinions expressed on this blog are strictly my own.  Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.

Places In The Home does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.
